Philip L. Rhodes collection [naval architecture drawings] 1916-1970

The Philip L. Rhodes collection consists of plans produced by Philip L. Rhodes and covers the time period from as early as his 1916 hydroplane to a ketch of 1970. The plans depict all types of vessels from small recreational dinghies to large yachts and commercial cargo, as well as many one design and class boats. Very little military work is included. The work of many other well-known architects appears within this collection from their time as employees in the firm. This material complements the time line of the material contained within the Cox & Stevens, Inc. collection (Collection 34).
